Our Mighty Shield,
We thank you this morning for Your protection. We thank you for the unseen angels that kept hurt, harm and danger from having its way. We thank you for deciding that one more day will be ours. Praise the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, now Israel. We bow on this, Your holy Sabbath Day, the day You made for man and not man for it, and worship You who made heaven and earth, the seas, and all that in them is. For the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD our God: in it You tell us that we are to do no work and we are grateful for Your love for us that we can rest and reflect on Your greatness. Forgive us Lord when we disobey Your will for us. And when we do not understand lead us to study to show ourselves approved unto You, workmen that need not to be ashamed as we rightly divide the Word of Truth. Please accept our prayer this day in our blessed Creator's name, Amen.
