O Father,
We are thankful for a God that gives us rest. In a world of chaos, busyness, hurry and stress; it is good to know that we can enjoy sweet repose. We can escape the demands of duty and labor and come aside for spiritual vegetation. You know Lord what our bodies require and we thank you for preparing a day of not only rest, but concentrated time with You. It is our best day of the week and we eager its arrival. We shutter to think of 7 days of toil and we are grateful for each week of divine intermission. Our praises to You this morning our Lord of the Sabbath for delighting in us. We come with this humble offering in Christ's name, Amen. Comments are closed.
