O dear Lord,
Thank you that we are able to wake to You this morning, our best Friend and only Hope in this life. Thank you that Your Word has all the answers to life's problems. Thank you for being the Bonding Agent that keeps us all together. We find comfort knowing that the universe beats to Your drum and that all of the wickedness will be cut short in righteousness. Thank you that we need not fear, for perfect Love casts out fear. We rely on You today to lead us beside the still waters and restore our soul. Please forgive us Lord when we have strayed onto our own path and ventured on that wide road. We give You permission to order our steps for we are prone to wander. Bless us with the baptism of the Holy Spirit today and help us to take up our cross and follow You is our prayer in Christ's holy name. Amen.
