Pray with me!
Here is where I post daily prayers
Our Father who reigns,
Thank you Lord for the sweet Sabbath hours that so quietly fills the air. Thank you for the blessing that each moment holds. Thank you for the peace that You provide our spirit in a world of chaos, uncertainty and sin. We find solace in You. Thank you for being the place that we can run to. Thank you that we can turn to You when life makes no sense; that there is no shadow of turning with You. Thank you for being our solid rock. Please forgive us Lord when we worry instead or trust; when there's fret instead of faith; when we talk instead of pray. Let this be our new covenant with You, we ask and pray this morning in Your Son's name, Amen.
Our Dear Kind Lord,
Thank you for being our Best Friend, our Gentle Savior, our Redeeming King, our Faithful Provider. We come to You this morning, our only hope for true revival and transformation of our soul. Lord we want to be better than we were yesterday. As the New Year is only 2 days away, we anticipate great things from You. A new heart You said You'd give us. You said You'd put a song in our mouth. You promised to make our crooked paths straight. You'd give health to our bones. You'd make our darkness light. You'd give back the years the locust have eaten. You would bring our children back to their borders. We pray Lord it to be soon. Please make us an instrument of Thy peace. We praise You and thank you Lord in advance for the miracles to come. This is our prayer in Jesus' magnificent name, Amen.
Our Bright Morning Star,
We thank you for the dawn of day. We thank you for allowing life to flow through our being. We thank you for the blessing of health. We thank you that You stayed devastating disasters from coming nigh. We are blessed Lord to live in a country where we are afforded many liberties and conveniences, at least for now. We know there will come a time where all will be removed. May we not take a moment for granted selfishly, but use this time for the furtherance of the gospel of Christ our Lord. May others see Christ in us, the Hope of Glory. May our light so shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify our Father which is in heaven. May You grant us courage to stand and speak boldly for You. May we not be ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth. We ask and prayer this to You this morning our gentle Father, Amen.
Our dear Father,
Thank you O Lord for another day of life. Thank you that we are what You cherish most. Thank you that this battle and march will not be in vain, that the redeemed hold a special place in Your heart. We look forward to eternity with You, where we will not be able to exhaust all the mysteries of heaven. You are our theme and our song. Please forgive our impatience, our unforgiveness, and our unbelief. We need Your supernatural grace in order to put on godliness. Help us Lord. We fail miserably. But we get back up and grab hold of Your stretched-out hand. Thank you for not leaving us in that low place. Thank you for Your immeasurable love. We pray this morning in Christ's name, Amen.
O Father in heaven,
Our blessed Friend and Lover of the lowly in heart. We praise You, our Kind Savior, and lift Your name above the earth. We worship You as King and Lord and Ruler over us. No other do we pledge our loyalty to. You alone are God. We find comfort in Your faithfulness, Your holiness, Your sovereignty. Forgive us Lord when we lose sight of our purpose here. From the very beginning, Lord You created us to worship You but we've made it about ourselves. We want the honor, we want the glory, and we want the praise for ourselves, as did Lucifer in Heaven. And we all know his fate. Save us Lord, least we perish. Please save us from our sinful selves. Please save us from the perils of vanity and self-exaltation. We are but nothing without You Lord. In and of ourselves, we are as walking dead men and we know it not. Save us from the enemy's lies that tells us we are something apart from You. We thank you and praise You for hearing and answering our prayer this morning in Christ's dear name, Amen.
Praise to the Lord,
All that is within us adore You. All our health and strength is by Thy Hand. We thank you this morning, these mortal souls of ours, with awe and reverence. Please forgive us Lord when our hearts or actions do not mimic our praises. Help us to be authentic Lord. Take away any form of hypocrisy that we may not know we possess. Help us to be tried and true Christians. Help us to be as steadfast and faithful as You Lord. And as this new year is approaching, help us Father to go another level with You. Help us not to fear the unknown, the uncomfortable and even the painful. We know that much is gained through suffering, whether great or small. Thank you Lord that You will always go through the fire with us. You never leave us alone. You are closer than any friend we will ever know. Praise the God of all creation is our prayer in Christ's precious and holy name, Amen.
As the day that the world sets aside to celebrate Your only Begotten's birth is just upon us, we cannot help but think about the true gospel story. Our minds refuse to turn away from the gruesome scenes our imagination pictures of Christ the Son suffering for fallen man. We are reminded that all had to have taken place for our redemption to be complete. The lashes, the spit, the punches, the thorn-pierced brow, the half-naked body nailed to that wooden tree for all to look upon His humiliation. And as we know He could have called ten thousand angels to come rescue, but only love, held Him there, on the cross. Praise the God of our soul that endured the cross and despised the shame, all for a poor wretch like me. We bless Your name, in Christ's only name can we pray, Amen.
