Blessed be the LORD:
For He hath shewed me His marvellous kindness in a strong city. For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before Thine eyes: Nevertheless Thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee. O love the LORD, all ye His saints: For the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, All ye that hope in the LORD. Psalm 31: 21-24 KJV “And now come I to Thee;
and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them Thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that Thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth.” John 17: 13-17 KJV Our precious Savior,
we come, O Lord, and crawl into Your lap. We are here to learn of You. We find no greater joy than to be in Your presence. Our life is incomplete, empty and hopeless without You. You are the missing piece of our soul. You cannot be replaced by anything, nor anyone. We thank You for filling the void that we did not know needed to be filled. You are our everything. Thank you Jesus. Amen. Our dear Lord,
we come this day in humility and reverence to worship You. We thank You for blessing us with a new day of life. We thank You for the privilege of prayer and supplication. We ask for forgiveness where we have neglected Your expressed will for our life. Forgive us when we have not waited. Forgive us when we have forged ahead. Forgive us when we have misrepresented You. We need Your Holy Spirit more than anything. Baptize us today we pray. Amen. Dear Father,
holy is Your name. Wonderful are Your ways. Great is Your faithfulness. Everlasting is Your love. What can we render for all that You are? Words cannot express. There is no act that is sufficient. Our hearts cannot yearn stronger. O Lord, this morning we give our life over to You fully. We trust Your plan explicitly. Do what You will, but save us when You come is our prayer. Amen. Dear Jesus,
You, who are our soul’s glory, joy and crown; we praise You. We praise You for unequaled mercies. We praise You for creation. We praise You for life. We praise You for health. We praise You for soundness of mind. We praise You for salvation. We praise You for family. We praise You for religious freedom. We praise You for giving us a heart that is turned toward You. We give thanks this morning for flooding us with a love that transforms, that uplifts, that ennobles. Praise and thanks is our offering. In Your name we pray. Amen. Dear Father,
we come yielded and still this morning. We bring broken spirits and contrite hearts to the mercy seat. We thank You that we can come as we are: wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. Please clean us up; give us Your joy; make us rich in You; give us spiritual eye salve; and clothe us with Your righteousness, we pray. Help us today to be more and more like You. Help us die to selfishness and pride. We ask all in the name of He who bled and died to buy our pardon. Amen. |
