Our crucified but risen Savior,
What a blessing it is to rise to You. Thank You for the health and strength that surges through our body. We humbly accept the mercies offered us this day. May Your mercy for us be our mercy for others. Help us not to be double-minded Lord but steadfast in faith. You promised as He who began a good work in us, to complete it until the day of Your return. We claim that promise this morning in Your dear precious and holy name, Amen. O Lord who gave us the beauties of this day, we praise You. We lift You up. We worship You. We exalt Your matchless name. We bow these sinful frames before Your mighty throne. We realize our Father that none can wash away our sin save the blood of Jesus. In knowing this, we plunge ourselves into the Fountain and remain there until white as snow we surface. And when You look below to see us, may it be Your Son’s reflection presented. This we pray in His name, Amen.
We praise You this morning O Lord, for Your love for us is beyond measure. Every moment of every day that we exist, we flood Your heart. And because we are sinful mortals and in need of a Savior, You intercede for us to Your Father. And because of You, He is our Father also. Please forgive us when we do wrong and reveal to us when we are ignorant of the error of our ways. May we not walk in darkness believing that we walk in light is our prayer in Your joyous name, Amen.
This morning we come to Him who was smitten of God and afflicted, Who borne our griefs and Who carried our sorrows. We fall before Him who was despised and rejected, Whom we hid our faces from and did not esteem. The very One that was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities, Whose chastisement our peace was upon and Whose stripes healed us. We have gone astray, we have turned to our own way, yet the Father laid upon You our guilt. Thank You Jesus for taking our sin and making it Your own. May we walk worthy today to be called Your child. We pray in Your sacred name, Amen.
Our Father,
From the abyss of our soul, we praise You. There is no other way to live. Our life is not worth living without You. You refresh us. You sustain us. You fill us. You make us new. There is no us without You. Thank You Lord. Please find us worthy to stand before You on that great day. May we not be discouraged. May we have no doubt. May we have no fear. May our faith hold out. May we find our strength in the joy of You is our prayer this morning in the well-meaning name of our Savior, Amen. Sweet and Tender Jesus,
We sing this morning with voices unqualified. We are no match for the angels, but still with all we have. We sing of Your beauty. We sing of Your grace. We sing of Your unspeakable love. We join in with all nature in manifold witness to Your omnipotence. We thank You for knowing the plans that You have toward us, plans to give us a future and a hope. We lay our plans at Your feet today and ask You to do Thy will, in Your name we pray, Amen. |
