O Lord,
We come to You this morning in humility but praising You for another day of hope to be transformed by Your Spirit. We give all we have and we declare that all we are is Thine. Fill us Jesus we pray. There is nothing we can do, nor nothing that matters without Your Spirit abiding in us moment by moment. All our righteousness is in vain, equal only to the most polluted garment. Let us never be high-minded and think that we are anything without You. Take away any carnalness and may our walk with You be real and lasting. We ask all in Your name, Amen. O Father,
You are our great and mighty God. You spoke creation into existence. You made man with Your own hands. You still the seas. You parted the ancient waters. You made fire come down from heaven. You heal the lame, the deaf and the mute. You destroy cities. You caused a flood. You also paint rainbows. You bud flowers. And You shared Your one and only Son with a wicked, perverted world. O Lord, have mercy on us we pray. Make us new today. Clean our hearts. And hear our prayer. We ask in the beloved name of Christ, Amen. Our All-Wise Father,
You know our frame. You remember that we are but dust. We were born in sin, shaped in iniquity. All we knew was evil. Then Your Son came and gave us light. He had in His hand the balm of Gilead. He stood as the great Physician. He became our Advocate, the Scapegoat. We were no longer doomed. There was hope. Thank you Jesus. We cannot say it enough. We praise You and pray in the only name that saved us, Amen. Our Creator Jesus,
We come to You full of joy and praise You on this beautiful Sabbath morning. Thank you for Your hand on our life. Thank you that this morning is filled with a single mercy multiplied. We do not deserve Your wonderfulness to us but it is ours to shout about. We ask that You drive us to You and baptize us anew with Your Spirit, and we pray it in Your holy and precious name, Amen. Our Dear Willing Lord,
Willing to risk it all. Will to put Your name on the line. Willing to come to this sin-intoxicated earth. Willing to be poor. Willing to not have a place to lie your head. Willing to be lonely. Willing to be jeered at. Willing to be beaten. Willing to be spit upon. Willing to be denied. Willing to be rejected. Willing to be humiliated. Willing to be shamed. Willing to carry our cross to Golgotha. Willing to be mocked. Willing to be separated from Your Father. And willing not to be loved by many. You would have been willing all over again if it were only I. O Jesus...thank you. Thank you for a love we will never be able to fully understand. We bow our head very low and praise Your holy name this morning. Amen. A Faithful Friend is He,
Giving us permission to awake another morning to Your love and dedication is something we cannot understand. You keep the sun shining and the birds singing. The flowers keep their blooming schedule even in the harshest of winters. Your Spirit tugs at our heart everyday to choose to walk in the Light. You give us the ability to hear that still small voice. You have not turned a death ear to our prayers. Thank you O Lord we pray, in the name that is the Truth, the Way and the Life, Amen. O Lord,
Righteousness belongs to You. Holy are You alone. For greatness is where You are found. Your majesty is far-reaching. There were none before You and love is who You are. Since You are I AM, and we are Yours, we are safe. You hold us up; You give us hope and courage; Your mercies are extended everyday. Thank you our holy Father. May we rest in You this day and find refuge in Your Word we pray, in Christ’s dear name, Amen. |
